KHR-3HV Ver.3.1

Sold out 2025 Consumer

Kondo's long-running bipedal hobby humanoid kit, now in a 22-servo Ver.3.1 sold through the official ROBOSPOT web shop.

Overview

The KHR-3HV is Japan's best-known hobby humanoid kit, made by servo specialist Kondo Kagaku since 2009 and still in production; the current Ver.3.1 22-axis edition went on sale in July 2025. The 40 cm, roughly 1.8 kg biped is assembled from an aluminum frame with 22 KRS-2552R3HV ICS servos, an RCB-4HV control board, and a 9.9V Li-Fe battery, and is programmed via Kondo's HeartToHeart software. Kondo lists it as open-price and sells it through its official ROBOSPOT web shop, with third-party sets typically in the $1,100-1,500 range. Popular for robot fighting and dance competitions like ROBO-ONE.
