Overview
Beijing startup Noetix Robotics unveiled Bumi in October 2025 at ¥9,998 (~$1,400), making it the cheapest bipedal humanoid on the market. The child-size 94 cm, ~12 kg robot walks, dances and responds to voice and app control, with lightweight composite construction and an open programming interface aimed at education and home edutainment. Its first 500 units sold out within 48 hours on JD.com, and after delivery delays first units reached buyers from April 2026, with sales still limited to China. Bumi anchors the consumer end of Noetix's lineup alongside the N2 and E1 research humanoids.
