Overview
Clone Alpha is a biomimetic android from Clone Robotics, the Polish-founded startup behind the Clone Hand. Instead of motors it uses water-powered Myofiber artificial muscles over a synthetic skeleton, with reported figures of roughly 170 cm height, 164 upper-body degrees of freedom including 26 per hand-wrist-elbow, and 182 sensors with four depth cameras. It is pitched as a household companion for chores for individuals and businesses. The official site runs a Reserve pre-order flow limited to 279 first-batch units; pricing and delivery dates are not published, and no units have shipped yet, so this is an early-stage reservation.
