DR01
Deep Robotics' first bipedal humanoid (2024): a ~1.7 m embodied-intelligence R&D platform focused on robust locomotion and self-learning.
Overview
The DR01 is Deep Robotics' first humanoid robot, unveiled at the World Robot Conference in Beijing in August 2024. Standing about 1.7 m tall, it is positioned as an 'embodied intelligence explorer' — a platform for AI training rather than a finished commercial product. It uses the company's self-developed J60 lightweight and J100 high-torque joints, walks at more than 1.6 m/s and handles 18 cm steps and 25° slopes. Its fusion-perception approach combines proprioception with environmental sensing to keep balance over uneven terrain and recover from pushes.
